In many places, particularly North America, a room rate attracts sales tax, but extras don't. It is now possible in KeepMeBooked to handle this properly, by simply specifying, for each extra, whether it is taxable or not:
If you leave the 'taxable' box checked (which is the default), then the extra will be included in the sales tax calculation. If you uncheck it, it won't be included.
(Note that this only affects bookings which you create after unchecking the 'taxable' box, it won't change existing bookings)
That should make life a lot easier for users in USA, Canada, and elsewhere where this is an issue. Sorry it took us so long to implement!
